Digital and Pulsed Fluoroscopy
The serial digital imaging modes markedly increase doses; however, the ability to utilize the pulsed mode reduces this dose by electronically filling in pulses. Subtraction techniques utilizing a “mask” or template for angiographic arterial and venous studies are examples.
