Collimators
The edges of the collimator must be seen in all mag and non-mag imaging modes
To not see them means extra wasted exposure outside the areas of the T.V.’s view.
Always tightly collimate (cone-down) to reduce scatter and excess patient dose and staff exposure while increasing image quality.
